Terms of Service
Effective date: September 2026
These Terms govern your participation in the OutlierDeck beta program and use of the OutlierDeck website, platform, dashboards, reports and related services — including narrative monitoring, sentiment analysis, brand and campaign tracking, and AI-assisted report generation.
OutlierDeck is operated by OutlierDeck Inc., a company registered in Canada.
1. Beta Status
OutlierDeck is currently in beta testing.
Features may change, be interrupted, modified or removed as the platform develops.
Beta services may contain errors and are provided for testing and evaluation purposes.
2. Permitted Use
Users may use OutlierDeck for lawful:
- communications intelligence;
- PR and media monitoring;
- narrative analysis;
- public-affairs research;
- market intelligence;
- organizational research;
- political and civic research where legally permitted.
3. Customer Responsibility
Users are responsible for ensuring that:
- information they upload may lawfully be processed;
- their use of OutlierDeck complies with applicable laws;
- they have appropriate authorization to use customer-provided data;
- they independently review important AI-generated outputs.
4. AI Outputs
OutlierDeck uses AI-assisted analysis.
Outputs are probabilistic and may contain inaccuracies, omissions or uncertainty.
OutlierDeck does not guarantee that forecasts, classifications, summaries or recommendations will be accurate.
5. Third-Party Data
OutlierDeck may rely on third-party sources, APIs and data providers.
Availability and accuracy of third-party information may change.
6. Prohibited Activities
Users may not use OutlierDeck to:
- unlawfully surveil individuals;
- unlawfully collect or process personal information;
- discriminate against individuals;
- create unlawful sensitive profiles;
- facilitate harassment or intimidation;
- conduct voter suppression;
- impersonate candidates or public officials deceptively;
- manufacture fake grassroots activity;
- facilitate fraud or identity theft;
- circumvent security controls;
- violate third-party platform terms;
- intentionally cause material harm.
7. Intellectual Property
OutlierDeck retains rights in its software, platform, technology, designs, trademarks and proprietary materials.
Customers retain their rights in information they lawfully provide to OutlierDeck, subject to the rights necessary to provide the Services.
8. Suspension
OutlierDeck may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, security, comply with law or investigate misuse.
9. Canadian Corporate Status
OutlierDeck is currently registered in Canada.
Use of the platform outside Canada does not mean that OutlierDeck is incorporated, licensed or registered in the user’s jurisdiction.
Users remain responsible for complying with applicable local laws.
